Nadia Baker

Nadia Baker is a biologist and artist. Based in Vancouver, she graduated from the University of British Columbia with B.Sc. Honours in Environmental Sciences in 2000. Working in watercolour, photography, mixed media and various printmaking techniques, her work often explores the juxtaposition of urban and natural environments. 

She has frequently participated in the Eastside Culture Crawl, and exhibited in Vancouver at the Federation Gallery, Britannia Art Gallery and Malaspina Printmakers. Additional group exhibitions include the Orange County Center for Contemporary Arts and the Los Angeles Printmaking Society 20th National Exhibition. She has been a member of the Malaspina Printmakers since 2002.
